decking

we inherited some fabulous vintage Christmas decor from grandma Flo a few years back.
lots of shaggy gold tinsel (which i decided to use in place of a tree skirt rather than on the tree itself), a matching tinsel-trimmed light-up tree-topper, tons of old lights and plenty of antique glass balls.

needless to say i was pretty stoked to decorate this year.

also had to include my sweet little perching birds from early on in our marriage.
